FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Stevens-Koenig Reporting, Denver-based court reporting firm, announces their acquisition of Carpenter Reporting, one of Denver’s premier court reporting firms.
“We’re so pleased about both the acquisition of Carpenter Reporting and having Bonnie Carpenter join our team of court reporters,” share Stevens-Koenig President and CEO, Judy Stevens. “Bonnie brings over 33 years of reporting experience to our team and we’re excited about the level of professionalism and excellence she brings to our firm.”
Owner and President of Stevens-Koenig, Judy Stevens, is no stranger to the acquisition and merger process. She purchased the firm in 1994 from then owner, Laura Koenig, when she wanted to retire. Laura Koenig & Associates had been in business since 1973. With Stevens at the helm, the firm also acquired Bruno & Booton Reporting in January of 2013, Avery-Woods Reporting in August of 2015, Lovelace Court Reporting in March of 2016 and Patterson Reporting & Video in November of 2016. With this newest acquisition, Stevens-Koenig will continue to offer their quality and timely services with over 20 certified court reporters on staff.
Established in 1986, Carpenter Reporting is a full-service court reporting firm located in the Aurora, Colorado area. Owner, Bonnie Carpenter, has been a court reporter for over three decades and holds these reporter designations: RPR (Registered Professional Reporter), CSR (Certified Shorthand Reporter), and CRR (Certified Realtime Reporter).
“I’m looking forward to joining the SK team,” shares Carpenter. “I confided in several reporting friends about wanting to sell my firm and begin reporting full time as part of a progressive and cohesive team. All of them said Judy was the one to call. They are an excellent group of professionals and I’m excited about what’s ahead for the firm.” Bonnie can be reached at Bonnie@SKReporting.com, 303-988-8470.
